Day Thirty Two: A Test Crochet

A test crochet for a friend. A very unwilling model!

Still need to add a flower to the big one and it is too small against the suggested sizing on the pattern so thre are some kinks to iron out, but it is a cute pattern ;)

Day Thirty One: Dinner

Made with home grown tomato, capsicum, carrots, asparagus, basil, oregano, garlic, onion, zucchini and squash (don't tell Husbeast or Mr8 as they both HATE zucc and squash, but only when they know that it is in there). Some from our little garden and some from Dad's ;) Someone remind me to look into a mushroom box later, I had to buy those!

And about to go in the oven ;)

This is my favourite lasagne dish, big enough for two and a half meals for us and for some reason great lasagne always tastes even better reheated the next day. It freezes well too which is great for when Husbeast or I get time to come home for a quick nuked lunch.
I will try and remember to take a photo once it comes out of the oven:)

Day Thirty: A Visitor

A little yellow and black visitor has been hanging around the chair out the back for a few days.

Days 18-24 - A Catch Up

I know, I know, I fail at these things....

So here is a catch up post. Still a photo for each day, just posted all at once lol!

These where taken on the balcony at the house we stay at when we go to Nambucca Heads. These guys are obviously fed by others who stay there, they show up like clockwork each morning ready for noms. They are vey comfortable with people, they will even eat out of your hand if you are game (which Alex thought he was, but turns out he was not, bless him).

Day Fourteen: Ideas

Fiddling with an idea for an entry for the show. I don't like this one so much, but have another to try it with to see how it works out.

Day Twelve: Just another day at the office

A random photo from my work camera from today.

Day Eleven: On the Couch

Fluffy-Jo watching Dad playing poker on the laptop. And yes, he is sitting on the couch in a t-shirt and his underpants - he is all class my husband.........

Day Ten: A new toy

I have been hassling the husbeast to get me a Macro Lens for my camera for ages. He still hasn't let me get one BUT he did surprise me today with a Macro Filter he ordered for me before Christmas which will keep me happy for a while ;) I will now have to learn how to use it lol. And apparently something called F-Stop is kinda important. I have no idea yet what that really means, but hey, I guess I will have to learn.

Day Seven: Trouble One and Two

It was nice and quiet out at the Blue Hole this morning. I love it out there early. There were a few other cars but nobody to be seen.

Day Six: Pretty in Blue

More Op shop finds, in my all time favourite colours. There is something so simply beautiful about the contrast of blue and white.

Funny story about these ones though. I had just finished having lunch with the girls and ducked into the op shop down from my office just for a sticky beak. I found two cups and matching saucers and they had to be mine. 20mins later a friend stopped by the office to drop of another cup! Thankyou Ellie!

Day Five: My Life....

...unfortunately, is in these pages. I spend too much time having to juggle things around in here, but I would be lost without it!

Day Four: A New Toy

Owen was lucky enough to be gifted a new toy for Christmas. I think I am going to love it just as much if not more than he does. A bread maker!

It arrived today and we HAD to try it pretty much as soon as we got home. Our first loaf was nothing special, a packet mix from the supermarket, White Crusty bread but Damn, it tastes good! The crusty ends are my favourite bits!

It is late and the kids are well and truely asleep, hopefully there will be some left in the morning for them to try. Maybe....
